HAW Hamburg is well renowned in the academic community for its practice-oriented approach. Our aim is to develop sustainable solutions to meet today's and tomorrow's major global challenges. In this context, the International Office team has been promoting the internationalisation of the HAW Hamburg both inwards and outwards. One of the International Office's flagship missions is to implement the Erasmus+ Programme. Two central Erasmus+ coordinators, the head of the International Office as well as 4 student exchange coordinators at the four faculties enable HAW Hamburg to implement the Erasmus+ Programme. Our four main objectives were to: 1. stabilise Erasmus mobilities in a (post)-pandemic context 2. enable students to pursue their semester abroad despite a general cyber-attack in January 2023 (which affected all our servers and which paralysed our entire system and resulted in the loss of our data and e-Mail communication) as well as a complete staff change of the Erasmus+ Team (new head of international office, new Erasmus+ coordinators for both SMS and SMP activities) 3. ensure the quality of the mobility activities and the inter-institutional cooperation despite the extremly challenging context
