The 2022 Erasmus+ project with Programme Countries at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (OVGU) covers the mobility activity types student mobility, staff mobility for teaching activities and staff mobility for training. With this project, Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg is pursuing the following objectives: Implementation of OVGU's internationalisation strategy by participating in Erasmus+ in order to give as many students as possible the opportunity to complete a part of their studies abroad; encouraging staff members who want to acquire international experience and skills and strengthening the European university alliance EU GREEN. By implementing the participation in the Erasmus programme, the Erasmus goals of OVGU, like internationalisation of teaching; increasing the number of internationally competitive curricula; increase of the number of international academic staff; increasing the visibility of study and teaching as well as research and transfer in the international scientific community; intensifying the partnerships with strategically important Erasmus+ partner institutions and implementation of the double degree programmes with European universities, were achieved.
