Participation in the Erasmus+ programme remains a key pillar of the internationalisation of THWS and complements the recruitment of international degree-seeking students in key areas, in particular staff mobility. The aim of THWS is still not primarily to simply increase the number of mobilities, but to improve the quality of relationships with partners by extending partnerships to several faculties. Strategic partnerships, with which THWS cooperates in various areas and in which Erasmus+ is an important pillar of cooperation, were thus intensified during the project period. The number of mobilities had fallen sharply due to the pandemic, the last effects of which were still noticeable at the beginning of the present project. Nevertheless, more students were gradually able to embark on mobility again. In this project, it was also possible to support some mobilities for blended intensive programmes as well as a BIP coordinated by THWS itself. The Interational Staff Week organised as a BIP made a significant contribution to Internationalisation@Home at THWS.
