Taking into account the current objectives and priorities of the European Education Area, the HdBA contributes to the expansion of Europe's growth and employment efforts by participating in the Erasmus+ programme. In this context, the implementation of the mobility measures, based on the strategy of institutional modernisation and further expansion of internationalisation, was primarily aimed at expanding the HdBA's international network in studies, teaching and applied research and development. In particular, existing contacts were to be deepened and new ones established in order to be able to carry out strategically important projects and cooperations for the HdBA in the future. By integrating the mobility programmes for university staff into the university's staff development concept and communicating them transparently, the main aim was to ensure that Erasmus+ mobility was available to all groups of university staff (professors, academic staff, administrative staff) to develop their personal profile. It was essential that this broader perspective allowed for a broadening of knowledge of the structures and working methods of international higher education institutions or institutions operating on the labour market. Developing the intercultural and language skills of the university's staff and students was another focus of the project.
