Objectives

"The realisation of student and staff mobility is a decisive measure for HNEE to achieve its goals in university education as well as in the professional and academic context. The stay abroad enables the acquisition of study, professional and intercultural skills, some of which can only be acquired through the academic, personal, and organisational challenges and insights of a stay abroad. Staff mobilities for training also help to internationalise the administration and contribute to the better implementation of the internationalisation of HNEE and the deepening of its international cooperation. The consolidation of HNEE's partnerships with institutions in other European countries is another important goal of the project. In particular, existing joint curricula with partners serve as an impetus for the joint development of double or joint degrees or the joint development of applications in Erasmus+. Different curricula also complement the programmes offered by HNEE and its partners to provide meaningful added value for students. Further goals include the continuous development of staff (human resource development) in the areas of teaching, international teaching, and teaching methods as wel as the training of employees (e.g., language competencies). The integration of experiences in practice into teaching is a special interest for HNEE because it is a university of applied science (STA 2). In addition, participants are expected to gain a deeper understanding of the complexity of the EU idea, as well as the uniqueness and intricacy of the European concept. They should also realise that issues affecting Europe as a whole cannot always have simple, uniform solutions and develop their understanding of intercultural matters.
