The aim was to intensify cooperation with European and international partners and to enable participants to gain intercultural experience and education. The Evangelische Hochschule Darmstadt, University of Applied Sciences set itself the goal of actively supporting, promoting and accompanying the participants. A central concern was also to actively promote the European idea and to make the gain in intercultural competence tangible and visible for the participants. The collaboration was not only intended to strengthen intercultural understanding and tolerance, but also to broaden the participants' horizons and consolidate or even expand the university's internationalisation activities. The experiences and impressions gained should also enrich the participants in their future professional and personal lives in the long term. Furthermore, the connection with one of the focal regions of the Evangelische Hochschule Darmstadt, University of Applied Sciences , South Africa, should be deepened.
