RWTH Aachen University wanted to achieve several goals by implementing the KA171 project with Georgia, Ukraine, and Namibia. The main aim was to enhance its internationalization strategy through sustainable and interdisciplinary partnerships. For Georgia and Ukraine, RWTH focused on increasing exchanges of students and staff at all academic levels, promoting joint research projects, and supporting capacity building aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This initiative aimed to strengthen ties between Germany and these countries while improving language skills and intercultural understanding among participants. With Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), RWTH sought to promote mobility for students and staff, developing joint research initiatives, and creating innovative teaching formats related to sustainable business practices. Overall, RWTH aimed to improve academic quality, foster intercultural understanding, support underrepresented groups in accessing opportunities abroad, and build long-lasting connections between Germany and these partner countries.
