The cross-disciplinary mobility project served to deepen and strategically advance existing partnerships within the framework of the internationalisation strategy and the university development plan of the University of Münster (UM). In the strategic target country, the USA, UM aimed to implement an innovative teaching project in Information Systems as a pilot for blended mobility and to establish it on a sustainable basis. In Georgia, Uzbekistan, and Gabon, the focus was on strengthening German Studies abroad, network-oriented project work, theory-practice exchange in German as a Foreign and Second Language (DaFZ), and the internationalisation of teacher education, which plays a central role in UM’s re-accreditation process and internationalisation strategy. The exchange with Israel extended across the humanities, natural sciences, and musicology, with the goal of fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and strengthening academic excellence. All project partners shared the commitment to advancing their internationalisation processes and to realizing the principle that excellent higher education must be internationally networked in order to produce highly qualified, open-minded, and internationally experienced graduates.
