The Leibniz University Hannover aimed to strengthen international academic collaboration to address global challenges. In Latin America, the project focused on environmental issues and sustainable water management with partners in Argentina and Guatemala. In Eastern Europe, with partners in Russia, Ukraine, and Georgia, the focus was on digital education and artificial intelligence. The cooperation with the Middle East aimed at sustainable North-South relations with Iran. In Asia, the emphasis was on cultural exchange and scientific collaboration with Thailand, Malaysia, and Bangladesh. In the long term, the project sought to increase internationalization, promote equal opportunities and interculturality, and strengthen the European Research Area by supporting the academic and personal development of the participants.
