At TU Bergakademie Freiberg TUBAF, the Erasmus program promotes study program- and subject-related cooperation with partner countries and supports the strategic goals of internationalization. These include A) positioning TUBAF as an internationally attractive location for research, bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies, further education, and research transfer in the profile areas of geosciences, materials, energy, and the environment; B) the education, training, and further education of highly qualified specialists for Saxon, national, European, and global science, industry, and society; C) helping to shape a European research and cooperation area in the fields of resources, energy, materials, and the environment, with a particular focus on the European Union's need to become climate-neutral in the coming decades; D) expanding global international research cooperation and global network structures for teaching, knowledge, and technology transfer.
