The internationalisation strategy of the University of Konstanz is based on five pillars, all of which were significantly strengthened through Erasmus+ KA171. 1. Long-standing partnerships with institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel, India, Kosovo, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan and Ukraine were deepened through mobility in research and teaching. 2. The project made an important contribution to increasing mobility at all levels; during the reporting period 2022–2025, 46 students and 38 staff members participated. 3. The internationalisation of teaching was supported by expanding English-language courses, integrating international guest lecturers and enabling teaching staff to gain experience abroad, with particular benefits for early career researchers. 4. Thanks to improved support structures, it was possible to provide fully funded scholarships, additional support for disadvantaged students and financial incentives for sustainable travel, thereby promoting equal opportunities, sustainability and diversity. 5. Finally, the programme enabled the admission of numerous refugee students and researchers, especially from Ukraine, thus allowing the University of Konstanz to fulfil its social responsibility.
