With the implementation of this project in the last 36 month, we aimed to strengthen the European University Viadrina (EUV)'s founding mission, which consists of internationality and interdisciplinarity. Since our founding, we have been building bridges between Eastern and Western Europe, a commitment we embraced before EU enlargement. This mission continues to shape our priorities in academic cooperations and mobilities, especially with Ukraine, Georgia, and Kosovo. In many of these partner countries, internationalisation plays a vital role in enhancing educational quality and addressing the challenges posed by wartime conditions and rise of rightwing populism. The project has expanded and deepened international cooperation in mobility, education and research. By strengthening existing partnerships and developing new networks, including Guinea, we aim to increase access to education and establish long-term, mutually beneficial academic exchange. These efforts support our strategic goal of positioning EUV as a platform for international academic dialogue. We continue to improve incoming student support and promote participation through peer tutoring, intercultural training, and social events that foster a welcoming environment.
