Objectives

With the current project, the University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd aimed at strengthening and expanding collaboration with two of its most longstanding partners: Kyjiw National Linguistic University (KNLU) and Lewinsky-Wingate Academic College Tel Aviv (LW). The goals of the current project have been the further increase of international mobility in terms of quality and quantity and the strengthening of the European Dimension at all institutions involved. Target groups have been students and teaching staff. As the project aimed at the return to "classical" mobility formats after the pandemic, the focus was upon long term mobility for students and short term mobility for teaching - in both directions where possible. Target fields have been languages (and foreign language teaching) with our Ukrainian partner, and languages (especially English teacher education), Early Childhood education and STEM (= science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education for our partner in Israel.
