Objectives

"Taking responsibility for international engagement and interconnection", is the essence of the internationalization strategy of the University of Stuttgart. Internationalization is seen as a holistic process, in which international and intercultural dimensions are purposefully integrated in all performance dimensions of the University. The five strategic goals of Internationalization at the Univeristy of Stuttgart include: "Strengthening and expanding international partnerships and networks", "internationalizing learning and teaching" and "establishing a culture of welcoming on an international campus". The internationalization strategy at the University of Stuttgart embodies a lived Erasmus+ culture and has, for decades, involved the mobility of individuals within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, being expanded to include the "wordwide" line with partner countries. By implementing the 2022 project, the University of Stuttgart aimed to further the internationalization process and strategic goals mentioned above, by developing and strenghtening collaborations through the exchange of students and researchers with universities in Burkina Faso, Georgia and the USA.
