Within the context of Hochschule RheinMain's internationalization strategy and the Erasmus Policy Statement, internationalism is a key building block of its overall strategy. It is perceived as a prerequisite for high quality degree courses, teaching and research and also boosts the university’s attractiveness to students, lecturers and partners in industry, teaching and research. HSRM maintains relationships with partner universities all over the world, the main focus being on Europe with currently approx. 100 partners. The partner universities chosen for the Erasmus+ ICM program are strategic partners of the respective faculties. The Erasmus+ Program is thus of central importance in the internationalization strategy, as it facilitates periods abroad and internationalisation at home for many people from different target groups. Hochschule RheinMain's goal is to embody internationalism on all levels. For this reason, international opportunities should be available to all the university's students and staff. It is essential, particularly in today's uncertain times full of worlwide crisis to foster exchange and mutual understanding. The Erasmus program makes an outstanding contribution to this.
