As a university committed to excellence, Ruhr University Bochum (RUB) is continuously expanding its academic collaborations with universities and (research) institutions worldwide. As part of its internationalization efforts, it is the declared goal of RUB to provide students, teaching staff, researchers, and other employees with early and diverse international and intercultural experiences in order to support their academic and personal development, significantly improve their chances on the globalized job market, and also integrate RUB researchers as effectively as possible into the international research landscape, thereby further increasing the quality of research and teaching. International cooperation should contribute to the promotion of cutting-edge research, entrepreneurship, and transfer. The promotion of international mobility is therefore a central component in achieving the RUB's strategic internationalization goals. In addition to the KA131 funding line, the Erasmus+ project 2022 made an important contribution to this through exchange activities with international partner institutions.
