The KA 171 project (2022-1-DE01-KA171-HED-000074872) is a component in the internationalization strategy of TU Berlin and its central vision of “Response to global challenges,” according to which global challenges require joint solutions. Mobility of administrative and academic staff and students are supposed to contribute to the further development of existing academic collaborations, enabling a change of perspective, and facilitating internationalization, leading to new ideas and innovation in research and teaching. The exchange with partner universities in Israel aims contributing to better relations in between Israel and Germany. In line with the internationalization strategies of the partner universities, networks are being developed and perspectives for joint supervision of doctoral students are initiated/established. The project was supposed to expand language and intercultural skills, and to elevate the understanding of European culture as well as Germany's role within the European context. Employees where given the opportunity of expanding their professional networks and research collaborations.
