Objectives

The project aimed to strengthen the international profile of the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (WHZ) and deepen partnerships in Neighbourhood East, Central Asia, the Russian Federation and Sub-Saharan Africa. A key goal was to build sustainable academic cooperation, notably through the development of the joint double-degree programme “Management and Information Technology”, linking partners in Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. By supporting student and staff mobilities, we sought to enhance mutual learning, joint research and curriculum development, and to improve graduates employability. The project also aimed to expand digital teaching formats and integrate international experiences into the curricula, thereby creating lasting academic networks and strengthening WHZ’s global engagement. Another important ambition was to expand WHZ’s engagement in Sub-Saharan Africa by initiating cooperation with several Cameroonian universities, with the intention of building a sustainable exchange framework. Furthermore, it aimed to expand digital and blended teaching formats to ensure sustainable cooperation and wider outreach.
