The aim was to follow up on the successful 2019 project and expand cooperation with the University of Prishtina. Incoming students or interns with less financial resources from the partner countries were to be given the opportunity to study at OTH and see what opportunities exist outside their own environment. Outgoing students or interns were to be given an incentive to study or work in a country that is not known as a classic foreign destination. The exchange between teaching staff aimed to enable both sides to experience each other's teaching styles in terms of technology, methods, and content, and to facilitate mutual exchange. Students should also benefit from the content and approach of the offered courses from guest lecturers. The project was intended to secure and continue the exchange between colleagues at UP and OTH, which exists since 2004, when OTH helped to build modules for the study programme “social work”. Furthermore the project intended to enable students to spend a semester abroad in order to improve their chances of an academic career, and enable the exchange of IO staff to improve project processes. (Exchange with the Russian Federation was not implemented.)
