"Applied Sciences for Life" – this is what Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT) stands for. The university has a unique and multifaceted profile encompassing green technologies and life sciences. HSWT sees it as its responsibility to contribute to solving pressing global, ecological, economic and social challenges and to help safeguard the natural foundations of life for future generations. Building and maintaining international, long-term, equal partnerships is the foundation for a practice-oriented exchange of knowledge, people, and ideas worldwide. Through the Erasmus+ KA171-2022 project, HSWT and its partners in Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan aimed to further internationalise their teaching content and intensify cooperation, thereby strengthening the professional and intercultural competencies of students and lecturers. In line with its core profile, HSWT also sought to advance content development in the fields of climate change management, climate protection, and resilience, and to promote its focus areas of sustainability and food through mutual support with its partners — including curricular consulting, co-teaching, research cooperation, and integration into European networks.
