The aim of the project was to cooperate more closely with non-European partners in which THWS has a strategic interest and vice versa. The Erasmus+ program is recognized worldwide and has a very good reputation. Participation in the program is seen as recognition of the partners and therefore expresses THWS's strategic interest in collaborating with the university. The goal was to enable students from the participating universities to spend time at THWS with financial support and to facilitate staff exchanges. In general, this was intended to open up new opportunities for cooperation and attract new faculties to collaborate with the universities in order to broaden the basis for cooperation. In addition, the aim was to connect the universities with each other and introduce them to each other through the exchange of teaching staff, e.g. in the framework of the THWS International Teaching Week, so that the teachers could promote the partners and thus encourage cooperation at their home university after their return. Furthermore, the exchange of staff was also intended to facilitate the preparation of joint projects and enable joint applications in other program lines.
