The Erasmus+ programme for student and staff mobility is the foundation of the European dimension in Aalen University's internationalisation strategy and is therefore one of its most important elements. It considers the promotion of students' personal development to be one of its essential tasks in order to prepare them as future specialists and managers in a Europeanised economy - with a global orientation - to take on professional and social responsibility. Thus, in view of this mission statement the aim of the project was to deepen institutional cooperation with four established partner universities outside the programme countries (University of Sarajevo, Yerevan State University, Hadassah Academic College and Yuri Gagarin State Technical University Saratov) and thereby create high-quality mobility opportunities for students and staff. The core objectives were to increase mobility figures, strengthen academic cooperation (teaching and research), ensure reliable recognition of learning outcomes, and promote inclusion and capacity building in line with Aalen University's internationalisation strategy.
