TUM promotes globalization and international scientific exchange. The internationalization of TUM is not an isolated process, but a decisive element of TUM's current and future strategy. Accordingly, this strategy encompasses TUM's most diverse target groups, from students to postgraduates, scientists, scholarship holders, and science managers. The Erasmus+ program plays a key role in TUM's overall strategy. Through the Erasmus+ program, the TUM Global and Alumni Office offers numerous opportunities for cooperation and networking across Europe and overseas. It supports students, doctoral candidates, and TUM academic and administrative staff in gaining international experience. TUM is highly internationally oriented with more than 23,000 international students and a broad global network of partner universities. Erasmus+ KA 171 allows us to strengthen cooperation with selected partner universities and to intensify the exchange in the fields of studying, research, teaching, and working. TUM employees, doctoral candidates, and students benefit not only from the transfer of knowledge but also from the intercultural exchange and the exposure to culturally different ways of teaching and working.
