Participation in the Erasmus programme forms a key part of the internationalisation strategy at Hof University of Applied Sciences. The university focuses on partnerships within the Erasmus area and currently has around 40. There are also focal points in India, Central Asia and Ukraine. Unlike KA131, this project has an incoming focus. The idea is to support students from these countries by enabling them to study abroad. Hof University focuses on student mobility, as well as on several staff members. Hof University has 40% international students. The largest group comes from India and is enrolled on master's programmes. Students from partner universities mainly participate in regular bachelor programmes, where they can interact with German students. This gives them international experience and the opportunity to interact with international students. Exchange students gain a better understanding of German study and teaching culture. The mobility of university staff in teaching and training is intended to strengthen the university's international networks and those of its employees. At the same time, this should facilitate knowledge transfer between the parties.
