Objectives

The aim of the project was to train and educate our education and management staff in order to meet the constantly changing requirements in adult education, to be able to react to new challenges in a routine manner and to pass on what they have learned to the association's employees responsible for education as multipliers. The European exchange was an important aspect of breaking new ground in education management. We were able to learn from the other participating countries and pass on our wealth of experience and knowledge. Participation in the project was intended to contribute to the development of quality standards for the association's educational work. These form the basis for the development of new, needs-based and more attractive educational offers.

Background

Our association must professionalize its educational work in order to develop more attractive, needs-based and targeted educational offerings that meet social requirements. For the management team, this means that education management processes and tools must be established in the association's work. In order to achieve a new quality with international standards, the association's educational and administrative staff must acquire the necessary specialist knowledge. Participation in the structured training courses of the mobility project was an important step in this process. The participants were shown new approaches and perspectives in educational work. The theoretical input, practical exercises and the European exchange enabled them to apply and manifest the skills they had acquired. Participants learned, among other things, methods for creating a "holistic approach to education", best practices in personnel management, how to achieve effective cooperation with the target group, etc. The participants were enabled to jointly develop quality standards for the educational work of the association.
