In response to growing concerns about climate change and its social impacts, we have intensified our work and revised our education strategy. Our goal was to mitigate risks and strengthen our programs by engaging a broad range of learners, including changemakers, activists, artists, and active citizens. Our objective is to support them in their civic engagement and to improve their efficiency and sustainability. To better meet the needs of our learners, we have identified the following objectives: 1. Enable staff to learn new teaching methods and skills in holistic approaches to resilience, sustainability and regenerative practices for socially and ecologically engaged learners. 2. Skills to develop new programs and courses on constructive collaboration (including diversity) and successful strategy development, to support socially and environmentally engaged learners 3. Establish and strengthen our digital capabilities and international networks for a more efficient and ambitious offering
Sahel Vision Deutschland e.V is an arts education organization, focused on ecology and civic engagement. We implement and promote educational and cultural/social programs, inclusive of a wide range of adult learners. We draw on a range of modalities (including digital) to support ecological and social transformation. Our work is international and interdisciplinary, emphasizing collaboration and participatory education. We work strategically to approach and include learners from diverse backgrounds, targeting training at specific marginalized groups, for example migrants. We work with an age range: from 18 to 80 years old. We actively seek to include those who are new to the themes alongside those who are more experienced.
