The original goal of the project was to support people from the creative industries (especially media and design), especially after completing their training and for longer periods of time. The reason for this objective was that such offers for this target group were rarely available because vocational schools, as project sponsors, only support people who are still at their school and not graduates after completing their training. The aim of the project was to increase the number of vocational training learners who spend a stay abroad and to improve the quality of the individual stays.
Berlin-Kultur is an association of people interested in culture in Berlin. We have also been carrying out projects as part of the Erasmus+ program in vocational training for many years. The aim is to support people from creative and craft professions and, above all, to give them the opportunity to carry out longer-term stays abroad even after their vocational training. Berlin-Kultur is a member of the large consortium of vocational training institutions led by the GEB in Berlin. Many activities overlap and complement each other.
