Background

Our sixth short project "Understanding lifelong vocational learning in Social-, Health- and Nursing professions for the development of professional and social competences as a positive process" was carried out by all planned groups in full within the planned periods together with our long-standing partner, the Vocational College Oulu/Finland. 26 student participants and seven accompanying teachers were surprised and overwhelmed by many impressions suitable for everyday life and work and absolutely unforgettable impressions, also for the private sector. Globalization is playing an increasingly important role in the theory at schools as well as in the practice of the corresponding training occupation. We experience this at our vocational school as well as our internship facilities and training companies in everyday life. That is why it was important to us with our goals for this project to recognize and understand lifelong learning creating opportunities, unavoidable and, above all, consistently positive for all learners and teachers.
