Promoting the internationalisation of the School: - New collaboration networks were established with educational institutions and companies in Europe, facilitating the exchange of best practices and the development of future joint projects.
The Berufskolleg im Bildungspark (BiB) is a vocational training school located in the city of Essen, Germany. Among the fields of study offered are commerce, business administration, information technology, health and social work, and mechanical engineering. BiB strives to provide its students not only with theoretical skills, but also with practical skills that are essential for entering the world of work. The local context in which BiB operates is characterised by a strong demand for qualified personnel in the technical and healthcare sectors. The school collaborates with local businesses and health institutions to ensure that training programmes meet the needs of the labour market. The project "S.T.R.O.N.G - Students' skills strengthening On iNternational Grounds" arose from the need to further improve teachers' and students' skills through international mobility experiences. The idea for the project was developed following an analysis of the school's training needs, which highlighted the need to strengthen the language and professional skills of teachers and students and to promote the internationalisation of the school.
