The aim of the project was to increase the practical component by introducing additional internships. The time period was chosen in such a way that hardly any time was lost in the vocational school lessons, but an extra offer could still be created. On the one hand, we created an offer that complemented job shadowing, excursions and workshops in line with the practical training of the educators. On the other hand, the topic of international education systems in comparison could be taken up and supplemented. This took place in the form of a seminar. A side effect was the personal development of the participants individually. Thus, self-confidence, self-awareness and linguistic competence could be developed. Especially the knowledge of English was improved. In addition, the participants learned basic Finnish and Swedish.
We are a non-profit limited company with 30 years of experience in the field of education and training on a national and international level. We work with differentiated target group from children to adults. With this project we want to improve the quality of educator training. Educator training in Germany is regulated by state law and takes place in schools. The practical parts are structured differently depending on the federal state. The proportion of practice is sometimes very low, we wanted to increase this through mobility, in which through Erasmus + for the participants the opportunity to realize internships and workshops abroad. The time period was chosen in such a way that hardly any teaching material had to be made up or could be shifted into the mobility. Furthermore, getting to know and dealing with international education systems in comparison is part of the curriculum, and this was also taken into account in the mobility.
