The INGROW Project aimed to create a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem by equipping migrant and ethnic minority entrepreneurs with essential skills and resources to overcome unique barriers in business. Our objectives included developing a tailored Competence Framework to address critical entrepreneurial competencies, creating a modular curriculum for flexible learning, and launching an Investor Readiness Assessment Tool to improve access to financing. Additionally, INGROW sought to empower educators and support organizations with culturally relevant tools, fostering long-term adoption and use in entrepreneurship education. Through these efforts, we aspired to support migrant entrepreneurs in building sustainable businesses and promote inclusive economic growth across Europe.
We applied for the INGROW Project to address the critical need for inclusive and accessible entrepreneurship education for migrant and ethnic minority entrepreneurs across Europe. Migrant entrepreneurs face unique challenges, such as limited access to financial networks, language barriers, and unfamiliarity with local business practices, which can hinder their entrepreneurial success. By creating resources tailored specifically to these needs, including a competence framework, modular curriculum, and investor readiness assessment tool, the project aimed to support migrant entrepreneurs in overcoming these obstacles. Through INGROW, we sought to empower educators and support organizations with tools and methodologies that foster a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem, ultimately contributing to a more equitable economic landscape across Europe.
