INFINITY project developed an educational program to train migrants to improve financial, entrepreneurship and soft skills for a successful and stable life of migrants in Europe and shows how important the skills and the ability to use financial resources are to make decisions and increase self-employment for migrants and refugees. INFINITY sort to ensure that migrants become productive members that contribute to society and thus promote the welfare and growth of the area they live in. The project sort to upskill migrants and refugees to have better understanding in managing their personal finance and the financial ecosystem of their host countries, gaining entrepreneurship and sort skills, provide training to build the self confidence of migrants and refugees as well as to address the plethora of challenges that migrants and refugees faces to enable sustainable integration. Finally the project sort to develop technical tools to support the learning of migrants and refugees.
Due to the migration phenomenon which has been a reality for Europe in recent decades. A living and ever-changing reality that has affected the structures of European society. The strong migratory flow of recent years to Europe marked a significant change in European society, affecting its population composition, labor market, social perceptions, and cultural mosaic. These changes in the social structures that Europe is experiencing are not only related to purely European society but are also directly linked and have a very significant impact on the lives of people who have had to deal with being forced to migrate and settle in a new place and to start living in a new place. Project INFINITY progressively accomplished the needs of contributing to upskilling the migrant’s financial literacy and developing a state-of-the-art educational material including elements of entrepreneurship, soft skills and sustainability in order to increase self-employment and ensure that that migrants become productive members that contributing to society and thus promoting the welfare and growth of the area they live in.
