The aim of the project was to create an opportunity for students to disvover the connection between the two disciplines of art and science in an international context. The projecxt work took place in English language. The students should thus be given the opportunity to broaden their horizons in various ways: (1) Cognitively establish links between art and science, recognizing that art cannot exist without science and that science also contains a lot of artistic aesthetics. (2) Interculturality through collaboration with students from another nation (3) Cultural awareness: discovering the country, culture and lifestyle (4) Promoting independence in other cultures (5) Breaking down language barriers (6) Increasing self-confidence in dealing with the English language
We are an urban secondary school with more than 1000 students. Beside offering our students by regular lessons, it's important for us to prepare our students sustainable for their furutre. This also includes the autonomous possibility to disover links between knowledge and competences. Within this project, they had the intense possibility to do so by linking art and sciences.
