Objectives

The overall objective of the program was to promote the educational and personal development of our students, but also teachers, in the field of education and lifelong learning. Social cohesion and the idea of Europe in terms of intercultural exchange were at the forefront of the program. Specifically, the learning mobility of individuals and groups was promoted, who were able to gain new experiences, promote their creativity and also travel and learn in the area of equal opportunities in Europe under the global theme of "Intercultural competences and the 4C model of learning in the 21st century".

Background

Maria-Theresia-Gymnasium is a municipal school in the city of Augsburg and sees tolerance, the European idea and intercultural exchange as the cornerstones of its school standards. In the context of the Erasmus project, intercultural competences and the 4C model of learning in the 21st century should be particularly emphasized. Both pupils and teachers were able to benefit from learning in a European context.
