In the education system in our country, there is not much room for out-of-class practices. Subjects such as plants in nature, stones, animals, forests, ecological system, global warming, climate crisis, mathematics, physics, etc. are explained to students theoretically in the classroom. Introducing these subjects physically and using them when necessary will create an important experience for students and provide permanent learning. For example, in the Biology course, teaching the plant and animal biology unit in a natural environment and examining plants in their natural environment will enable the student to learn by doing and experiencing. Students will have the opportunity to learn course topics by experiencing the environment. The plans of all the lessons will be made applicable to the environment and outdoors by the teachers, and at the same time, drawing attention to environmental problems, global warming, climate changes, losses in biodiversity, soil losses, forest fires, depletion in the ozone layer and covering these issues in the lessons is one of the aims of the project.
From today's childhood, the majority of time is spent at home or indoors. The education system is based on teaching abstract concepts instead of nature, which is the reality of life and continues in closed spaces. In our schools, the interest in the courses of the curriculum that we have to keep in the classrooms decreases, which causes you to graduate unsuccessfully and uninterested. With the project we carried out, it was ensured that the lessons were carried out with out-of-class activities without making any changes to the curriculum. In this way, we ensured the acquisition of permanent information about permanent nature safety through practice. In addition, we aimed to establish the interaction of developments with different cultures and languages. The main purpose of our project was to learn the plants, animals, forests, ecological system, global warming, climate crisis, etc. in nature more permanently by experiencing them through out-of-class education. Another aim of this project was to turn the concrete school gardens into open-air classrooms. It was observed that not all the lessons taught were theoretically digitized as much as thought, and that outdoor lessons became more useful in terms of teaching and guidance.
