Objectives

In the first phase of our accreditation, the focus was on establishing new cooperative relationships with partner organisations abroad and also in Germany, e.g. with local youth welfare organisations to become associative partners in international projects, in order to further develop our international profile and grow in an international community of practice. We closely linked our activities to reaching the six objectives described in our accreditation strategy. Below we provide further insights into our activities: A1: Further development of inclusive international youth work with a focus on young adults with NEET status and/or from youth welfare services; testing of a highly participatory and process-oriented programme design; further development of the processing of ecological topics using artistic methods A2: Learn more about regional educational institutions and concepts of youth work, the professional approach from educators and challenges faced by diverse societies. Transfer the experienced and learned content to the institution: identify European (German and Israeli) challenges + develop common strategies for action; Analyse challenges for youth work; Build up good practice examples: learn from participants and local organizations as well as from experts in this field A3: Networking meeting to be established as a regular forum to bring together old and new partner organisations, with a focus on cooperatively achieving and reviewing our six accreditation objectives A4 and A5: Establish a working relationship with our colleagues from Monte Sole (Italy) and Lidice (Czechia) to organise a youth exchange with young people from all three countries in the near future. Get to know each other and find a common ground for historico-political education. Exchange knowledge on contents, methodology and country-specific issues and approaches to remembrance culture and historical continuities in the European context A6 and A7: We wanted to discover common points and differences between Bafa and JuLeiCa programs; train “the Trainers or facilitators” for future Bafa/ JuLeiCa programs; find out together if there are similarities in methods and contents in the youth work in France and Germany; learn about the history of Bafa/ JuLeiCa training programs in both countries; meet French employees and volunteers in youth work and education; encourage the cultural and personal exchange between the participants A8: Learn more about strategies of action in dealing with disinformation, such as current social + political discourses on the topic in European countries and best-practice approaches and methods for strengthening media literacy competences of young people; Transfer the experienced and learned content to society: identify European challenges + develop common strategies for action; Analyse challenges for youth work; Build up good practice examples: learn from participants and local organizations as well as from experts in this field A9: Get to know each other, develop a common attitude in order to carry out a youth exchange in the near future, deal with questions such as: How do I work with young people? What does being black mean to me? What do I understand by decolonial learning?
