Objectives

Inside our Erasmus+ accreditation, we have 8 objectives that we are trying to achieve. They are connected to important topics for us as an organization, for our participants and we believe for Erasmus+ program in general. These objectives are: 1. Sustainability, nature and environmental protection, green activism, outdoor activities and sport, (urban) gardening 2. EU citizenship, EU values, EU institutions, EU closer to youth, EU mobility 3. Promoting human rights and social inclusion, focusing on the integration of vulnerable groups (youth with fewer opportunities or minorities). 4. Health and well-being (incl. physical, mental and digital health) by providing opportunities, aiming at increasing the knowledge regarding physical exercise, effects of mental health, digital wellbeing. 5. Quality in youth work, education, training and development of youth workers, innovation and research, less administrative work, long-term sustainable processes 6. Arts, culture, theatre, music, film 7. Developing and enhancing digital competences. This includes digital detox, creating a better tech-life-balance, getting to know and learning to use digital tools. 8. Developing and enhancing entrepreneurial competences and increasing the employability of European Youth, providing different learning opportunities on entrepreneurship related skills, knowledge and attitudes. With this project, our focus was on achieving bigger progress toward goals 1, 4, 5,6 and 7. Our main objective was to provide high-quality activities for young people and youth workers, offering them an opportunity to learn, grow, improve their competences and connect with their peers from different countries and regions. Since it would be impossible to give equal attention to all objectives from the accreditation, our other objectives for this project were: - Increase the network of partner organizations and trainers, by giving them training, sharing our innovative practices and increasing our and their quality of youth work - Doing our part in peace-building between young people coming from conflict countries, acting as a bridge between nations, connecting and engaging young people and creating understanding by using different tools - Listening to the needs and wishes of young people in our community, providing activities that are top priorities for our young people and the European youth including the ones presented through EU Youth Goals, Sustainable Development Goals and through our local activities and projects with young people - Creating a safe space for young people and youth workers to open up about their mental, physical and digital health, creating a supportive community and offering tools and methods that they can use in their life and/or in their work with young people. The last goal that we had, which is one of the crucial ones, is to successfully implement our first Erasmus+ accredited project, to learn from the experience, create mistakes and find solutions, share our knowledge and findings inside our team and with our partner organizations and to increase the quality of our activities and work of our team, while offering high-quality experience for young people and youth workers joining our activities.
