Prejudices and discrimination are one of the most critical elements that prevent groups with different characteristics from living together peacefully. Individuals have embraced the practice of dividing people into groups based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, and appearance, and not loving and even hating those who are different from them. Hatred and hostility against what is different is the root of all violence, wars, and genocides across the world. Xenophobia has been on the rise in Europe since the beginning of the 2000s, the 11 september attacks, the economic crisis that began in 2008, and the Arab Spring movements that swept the Middle East and North Africa in 2009 were the breaking points in this trend. The increased support of far-right ideologies with racist and populist rhetoric in the politics of European nations after 2000 has nearly normalized the growth in xenophobia, owing to the detrimental impacts of the economic crisis on critical welfare. Hate crimes, discrimination, racism, xenophobia, and other forms of intolerance are on the rise in the European Union and elsewhere, indicating that we must step up our efforts and activities to combat hate crimes, discrimination, racism, xenophobia, and other forms of intolerance. Because these crimes are incompatible with the European Union's values and principles regarding universal human rights and fundamental freedoms, the EU is determined to eradicate them completely. In this regard, the issues we dealed within the project were as follows: Factors causing xenophobia and social problems caused by xenophobia, tolerance and respect towards people from different backgrounds and identities, basic human values and things to be done towards solving problems. Our overall goal was to reduce xenophobia among young people for a more livable Europe. Specific objects were: 1- To teach the factors that cause xenophobia to young people 2- To increase tolerance and respect for differences among young people from different backgrounds and identities 3- To teach young people the values that constitute the foundation of society 4- To produce solutions to prevent xenophobia 5- To raise awareness among young people and local communities about the negative consequences of xenophobia
