By implementing the project "Let's play for social inclusion" we aimed to achieve the following objectives: To give the participants with and without fewer opportunities a space to address social exclusion and discrimination through sport-based activities. To increase participants’ knowledge on issues, elements, and realities in participating countries in the field of social exclusion and discrimination. To develop life learning competencies of the participants such as communication, cultural awareness, problem-solving, teamwork in an intercultural setting, and a sense of initiative. To empower participants to address social exclusion in their communities and to contribute to building a socially inclusive society. To break stereotypes and prejudices that participants coming from diverse backgrounds might have towards each other and to support transferring participants’ experiences into their daily realities. To equip participants with practical skills gained during the process of planning their travel, preparing the sessions, implementing activities during the youth exchange, and conducting follow-up activities, sharing experiences, and ensuring project visibility. To increase participants’ knowledge on Erasmus+ Programme and encourage them to become actively involved in actions supported by Erasmus+. Through these objectives, we sought to foster an environment of social inclusion and integration, enabling young people from diverse and marginalized backgrounds to interact, showcase their talents, and build self-confidence and self-esteem. The project aimed to break down social barriers, promote communication, trust, problem-solving, and conflict management, and increase awareness of European projects and EU values among young participants.
