The aim of the project is the sustainable deepening of contacts with the already known and with a new partner school. Furthermore, we wanted to enable our students - especially context of the Corona pandemic - to meet, exchange and socialize with young people of the same age from Europe. This was a special concern for us out of tradition, since before the pandemic we actively maintained exchanges with partner schools every year, from which our students always benefited greatly. All young people were to learn about their European intercultural similarities and differences through their active participation in the project, reflect on them and exchange ideas. This was also an important goal with regard to the society of the future. The participants were to become aware of and discuss diversity, tolerance, respect and democratic social coexistence. This goal gained additional importance shortly after the application was submitted due to the outbreak of the Ukraine war. Under these circumstances, it is even more important than before to raise awareness of understanding for each other and the possibility of peaceful coexistence.
