Objectives

In the recent year the issues of separation, lack of emotional and job security led to the increased risk of depression, anxiety and compulsive behaviour. Besides, young people were impacted the most from the uncertainty of future due to the pandemic. Therefore, we wanted to address these issues and help to built resilience, confidence in the own skills of youth and to introduce effective stress tackling techniques of mindfulness. With the project, we wanted to achieve the following objectives: - to discover participants’ strong traits of personality - to explore their values and unique abilities and how it is applicable in professional and personal life - to exchange and discuss those discoveries with peers, to find common points and see them from the other point of view - daily use of mindful and meditation practices to reduce stress and anxiety from the uncertainty of the future (not only covid related) that can be used after the project in the daily life - to give participants space to find their own best working practices for stress management - to be exposed to the international environment and facilitate intercultural understanding and cooperation - to rebuilt international networking among participants and especially for disadvantaged youth (with a migrational background, economically disadvantaged and from rural areas) -to discover foreign cultures and practice English in a safe and non-judging environment.
