The "Greenovators Impact LAB" project, held in Bakuriani, Georgia from December 13-21, 2022, aimed to achieve diverse goals through the collaboration of young participants from different countries. Building on a prior Youth Exchange involving German and Georgian members, which highlighted shared concerns for environmental protection, the project recognized the environmental challenges faced by partner organizations, particularly in Georgia. Further discussions and research underscored these common challenges and the need for collaborative solutions. The project's primary objective was to harness participants' creativity to address global environmental issues. In the context of urbanization and heightened production, the project acknowledged the increasing significance of environmental problems. Emphasizing social entrepreneurship and novel ideas, the project aimed to foster environmental responsibility through creative approaches, eco-preneurship, and develop sustainable thinking . The core aim was to promote a conscious approach to environment and social entrepreneurship among youth from six EU and partner countries: Germany, Georgia, Portugal, Armenia, Ukraine, and Lithuania. The project facilitated the creation of solutions promoting eco-friendly behaviors and nature preservation, showcasing how entrepreneurial thinking could effectively combat pollution and environmental challenges with mindfulness. Specific objectives included: Raising Environmental Awareness: Enhancing participants' understanding of environmental issues and the role of social entrepreneurship. Inspiring Social Entrepreneurship: Encouraging youth to adopt social entrepreneurship principles for long-term environmental initiatives. Disseminating Project Outcomes: Providing a platform for sharing products, including videos and social media updates, to spread project results. Encouraging Creativity and Diversity: Fostering creativity, innovation, participation, diversity, and social inclusion. Cultivating Intercultural Exchange: Facilitating the exchange of ideas and solutions, promoting intercultural dialogue. Developing Sustainable Thinking: Expanding participants' knowledge of sustainable development and individual roles. Fostering Personal Growth: Encouraging personal growth by stepping beyond comfort zones and embracing responsibility. Cultural Enrichment: Elevating participants' cultural awareness through cultural evenings and interactions. Educating about Environmental Awareness: Instilling early environmental education, emphasizing reducing, reusing, and recycling. Utilizing Non-Formal Education: Grounding the project in non-formal education methods, ensuring interactive learning and engagement. The project culminated in an exhibition, showcasing ideas and inventions by participants. The central purpose of this exhibition was to ignite a shift towards embracing alternative consumption practices and encouraging behaviors that prioritize eco-friendliness. Participants were tasked with rejuvenating old items, breathing new life into them, and crafting creations that spoke to their unique characteristics and outlook on nature. In addition, some participants focused on crafting decorative pieces. Engaging in collective assignments, participants not only spurred social interactions and communication but also found outlets for expressing their individuality. The project held further benefits, including the enhancement of language skills, cultural sensitivity, and motivation for personal and professional advancement. Ultimately, the project's success lay in its ability to cultivate environmental awareness, foster the principles of social entrepreneurship, and facilitate personal growth, all achieved through innovative approaches to non-formal education.
