The advancing digitization is changing and determining the lives of all young people, but young people are not involved at all in most of the processes involved in controlling digitization. Wouldn't one of the first questions be: What is digitization doing - as we are promoting it - with our children and young people, with our future generations? This question is asked centrally in our Camp 3.0. The participating young people come from differently structured regions of Europe, and there are different priorities for digitization from country to country. In the lively discussions, an exchange about different models of life, cultural backgrounds, different milieus and country-specific events develops. This exchange of knowledge and experience forms the basis for a personally reflected approach to the challenges of digitization. In addition, tolerance, empathy and understanding for one another are encouraged. In addition to the main topic, it is important that the participants have fun and enjoy the implementation. The funding priorities of the key action were discussed with the partner organizations and the following goals were agreed: • The participants get to know Europe and the countries involved in the camp. They add a European perspective to their own identity and attitude. • The participants have an awareness of sustainable and diverse lifestyles and integrate them into their everyday world. • The participants reflect on their own values and exchange ideas about them (discussion about universal values such as freedom, tolerance and respect for human rights). • The participants experience and reflect critically on the connections between digitization, the environment, food, consumption, religion and worldviews, family and mobility. • The participants learn new and old ways of getting involved and how to become active on their own. • The participants are encouraged in their personality development (identity, language, social skills, "being able to show themselves" through culture). • The participants deal with cultural diversity in order to support the topic of transcultural understanding and to be able to get involved in society. • The participants have developed a personally reflected approach to the challenges of digitization. • Participants act as multipliers in their environment. They represent the attitude developed in the camp and communicate the content they have learned. • The participants keep in touch beyond the camp and are in an exchange. Additional goals that the young people formulated in the preparatory group: • Establishing new friendships, which can be a reason for new encounters and further projects. • Experiencing Europe and discussing various issues that concern young people. • Broadening of horizons, new impulses ("Experience something new"). • Improving English skills. • Bringing in existing skills (social media, photography and films, music, sports...) and being actively involved in organizational planning and programming: A program by young people for young people on the subject of "digitization?" in contrast to a "real" living together with simple means, cooking together, organizing everyday camp life together and close contact during and outside of the formal activities create an open and informal Atmosphere that creates space for creativity and exchange.
