The primary aim of our project was to build upon the success of the training course "Media Culture in Youth Work," which was executed by JuBuK in 2021. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from partners and participants propelled us to further develop this initiative. Our foremost objective was to equip youth workers with the skills and knowledge required to produce, edit, and distribute online videos. We sought to empower them to collaborate with young people in creating online video content infused with potent social messages, capable of driving substantial social change on local, regional, national, or international scales. Moreover, we aimed to foster creativity, innovation, and leadership among young individuals themselves through the utilization of online videos in youth work. By introducing them to constructive and purposeful uses of the internet and technology, we envisioned sparking their interest in various career fields, including STEMS, marketing, journalism, or artistic disciplines. Furthermore, we believed that the adoption of online video by youth could serve as a highly effective means for them to communicate with broader society, cultivate a sense of community belonging, and facilitate policymakers' understanding of the issues they encounter. A significant emphasis of our program was placed on guiding youth workers in developing strategies to encourage young people to engage in online video projects promoting equity, social cohesion, active citizenship, and European values. Additionally, we aimed to enhance youth workers' understanding of the media landscape, particularly how young individuals interact with modern technologies, while also addressing negative aspects such as the phenomena and mechanisms of "fake news." Aligned with EU policy objectives, our project sought to contribute to smart growth by empowering youth workers with ICT-related skills, thus furthering digitalization within society and promoting innovation and a digital society as outlined in the Europe 2022 strategy. Furthermore, by offering training focused on Digital Fabrication, we aimed to enhance digital competencies among youth workers, aligning with the commission's objective of fostering digital competencies in 2022. Moreover, our project aimed to contribute to the overall objectives of the renewed framework for European cooperation in the youth field by fostering European-wide networking among participants and facilitating collaboration on new European projects. We also endeavored to curb overly consumerist behaviors by increasing digital competencies, guiding educators and youth workers to channel negative online behaviors into positive and constructive ones, ultimately contributing to economic and societal growth. Lastly, by equipping youth workers with practical skills, our project aimed to enhance the dissemination of European values and Erasmus projects, thereby improving the quality and efficiency of education and training provided by partner organizations.
