The background of writing this project was that due to the coronavirus lockdown, being forced to work from home partners, youth workers and young volunteers also realised they needed to learn professionally how to go beyond online socialising and use online new tools also for learning and working. Thus, together we developed this project that has the aim of increasing the capacity building of the partner organisations in the field of Volunteer Engagement with focus on aligning the youth worker’s digital competences to the new online trends used by young volunteers and to equip the youth workers with new skills and competences to close the gap between the young people and the YW. To reach the aim we developed 3 specific objectives: 1. Developing creative and innovative online communication and collaborative work competences specific to volunteer engagement, among 32 youth workers from 8 countries, in 12 months. 2. Enhancing the effective use of innovative social media and creative online tools for communication and collaborative work with young volunteers, in at least 1 learning activity for each partner organization, in 4 months. 3. Supporting the exchange of experience and good practices in the field of volunteer engagement by using online communication and collaborative working tools, for 32 youth workers and 8 partner organizations, in 12 months.
