RDAM's mission and vision for international cooperation, including participation in the Erasmus+ Programme, is essential when offering education in classical music performance at the highest international level. Students are educated for a global labour market where internationalisation is a substiantial parameter in a professional and practical context. RDAM therefore has a strategic and invested approach to all aspects of international activities and continuously intensifies its efforts in internationalisation in terms of mobility, strategic alliances and in developing new international cooperation networks. The Erasmus+ programme and the European network AEC (Assiciation Européenne des Conservatoires) are fundamental elements of the international development of RDAM. The framework provides a range of funding opportunities that are examined closely by RDAM, and expected to be included in upcoming priorities for strategic efforts. RDAM will continue to ensure that students have advantageous opportunities to participate in mobility with institutions that offer a wide range of attractive programmes. RDAM also regards activities in teacher mobility important to competence development, contributing to the development of new perspectives in pedagogy and artistic development. The Erasmus+ programme is the cornerstone of the academy's international activites. Working with the programme for +20 years has enabled RDAM to develop strong and continous partnerships with art academies all over Europe ensuring easy and accessible mobility opportunities for students and staff.
