Internationalization is highly prioritized at DTU and the internationalization strategy is implemented through a broad range of activities. From the student led "Students' Culture Hub" to participation in large university alliances with partner universities in Scandinavia, Europe and the rest of the world. Activities include student and staff exchanges, joint and dual study programmes, recruitment of international full degree students and staff, as well as collaborations in research and innovation. DTU is internationally renowned as an elite polytechnic research institution, educating outstanding and innovative engineers mastering technologies for the benefit of people and society. All DTU students are encouraged to study or do an internship abroad as part of their DTU degree. Further, the high number of incoming international students (exchange and full degree) as well as international staff members offer a unique international campus atmosphere and the possibility for internationalization "at home". The participation in the Erasmus+ has for many years played an important role in fulfilling this international mission, by supporting outgoing student and staff mobilities and by facilitating incoming exchanges from partner throughout Europe and beyond. We hope to continue this work in the years to come.
