Objectives

The project focused on KA131 funding to support student and staff mobility at University College Copenhagen (KP), a Higher Education Institution in Copenhagen specializing in first cycle professional study programmes, primarily targeting the welfare sector. The aim was to provide funding and a framework for high-quality mobility for students and academic staff, thereby increasing the international and professional knowledge base, facilitating knowledge exchange, and developing personal and intercultural competences. The KA131 initiative was designed to open avenues for a broader student demographic, including those who might not have access to long-term study abroad programs due to financial or personal constraints. We planned to leverage the 20 percent grant allocation for international mobilities and incorporate options such as short-term mobilities and the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), with the hope of making international exposure more inclusive and accessible. However, due to the lack of legal basis in Denmark, we were unable to implement the short-term and BIP aspects as originally envisioned.
