Objectives

In this Youth Exchange, we aimed at broadening the perspective of the strict reductionist approach that characterized science since the 18th century introducing a more holistic one under the ‘New Ecology’ current that wants to go beyond the limiting paradigm. Therefore, during this project, we wanted to start from the sudden technological development that came up during the last century and at the same, frame them in a context where human being come back at the centre and also, consider him as the cell of a bigger organism. The objectives of our project were to: • Let 30 participants become aware of the differences between reductionist science and ‘New Ecology’ approach. • Let participants become more environmental sensitive. • To give them the possibility to gain a higher dignity regarding physical and psychological healthy as well as increase sustainable actions as a driver for future choices • To spread the outcome of the project so that more young people can be become sensitive about this issue. • To increase solidarity across borders, tolerance, intercultural understanding and dialogue amongst young people using cultural difference as a source of inspiration for participants • To create a stronger network of organizations that can keep the partnership for future mobility programs • To produce an outcome that can inspire people consisting in different videos and/or presentation that show what participants achieved during the project in terms of activities as well as material and theoretical knowledge. This material will be used by participants once back home, along with workshops and activities organized, to help other people to make important changes in their lifes. • To reach around 42.600 people with the dissemination material through the digital media channels of the five organizations that corresponds to the number of followers on Facebook and to reach around 100 people with the direct dissemination activities that will be carried out by the participants.
