For Namibia the purpose of this project was to strengthen existing collaboration between Aalborg University, Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology (DK) and Namibia University of Science and Technology, and The Faculty of Computing and Informatics (NUST) by mutual, two-way staff mobility between the two institutions. The project managed to continue and expand specialised knowledge and skill transfer within existing curricular structures as well as promote further joint research. For all other countries the project had two main parts: 1) Engagement of colleagues within the Urban Climate Change Research Network (UCCRN) in education components, including the UCCRN flagship product Urban Design Climate Workshops (UDCW), and 2) renewing student exchanges and connecting these to UCCRN activities such as the 3rd Assessment Report on Climate Change and Cities, including developing case-studies for this. In this respect, the intention was to connect students from AAU and partner universities in twinning activities.
